Why camping Bois de Gravière?
Located near the charming medieval town of Besse-et-Saint-Anastaise, our campsite is the ideal base for exploring the natural wonders of the Chaînes des Puy, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Summer or winter Whether you enjoy hiking, skiing, cycling, fishing or simply relaxing, you’ll find an authentic and welcoming setting here. Our spacious, shaded pitches are the ideal starting point for a volcanic experience, allowing you to recharge your batteries in complete tranquillity.
What activities are available on and around the campsite?
At Bois de Gravière, there’s always something to do! Take advantage of our heated swimming pool for a moment of relaxation, or join in during the high season with our friendly entertainment that will delight young and old alike. Nature-lovers can venture out on the nearby hiking trails, while culture buffs can discover the region’s rich heritage. And for gourmets, we offer tasty local takeaways to tantalize your taste buds.

How can I book my stay?
Booking your stay at camping Bois de Gravière is quick and easy. Visit our website to check availability and choose the accommodation that suits you best. Our team is also on hand to answer any questions you may have and help you plan a memorable vacation.
Opening dates for Chalets and Mobile-Homes ?
Uninterrupted from the Christmas vacations to the second weekend in September, weekly or overnight rentals available. Arrival and departure days can be adapted to suit the period.
Campsite opening dates ?
During the winter period, the campsites are only open during the school vacations, i.e. 2 weeks during the Christmas vacations and 4 weeks during the February vacations, then without interruption from the Easter vacations until the second weekend in September.
Is it possible to eat on site?
The campsite does not have an on-site restaurant, but we do offer a “home-made” takeaway service. Proposals vary according to the season, so don’t hesitate to ask. Raclette and fondue auvergnate, home-made pizza, Truffade,… Restaurant 800m away.
